DMCA Copyright Policy

Last Updated: May 17, 2026

way2pdf (https://way2pdf.com) respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. This policy describes how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement and how we respond.

Important: way2pdf is a processing service — users upload files, we process and immediately return results, and files are automatically deleted within one hour. We do not host a permanent library of user-uploaded content. If you believe content on our site pages (editorial text, images, code) infringes your copyright, use the notice procedure below.

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that material on way2pdf infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing all of the following elements to our designated agent (contact details below):

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are at issue.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., the specific URL on way2pdf.com).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Designated DMCA Agent:

Email: dmca@way2pdf.com
(For fastest processing, submit via email with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice".)

Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or in the Western District of Texas if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant or their agent.

Send counter-notices to dmca@way2pdf.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice." Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. The material may be restored within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat-Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, way2pdf will terminate the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers. Because way2pdf does not require user accounts, we apply this policy by blocking repeated abusive IP addresses or sessions identified through multiple valid DMCA notices.

Note on User-Uploaded Files

Files uploaded by users for processing are automatically deleted from our servers within one hour. We do not retain or distribute user-uploaded documents beyond the processing session. Because files are ephemeral and session-isolated, they are not publicly accessible or indexable. If you believe a user is systematically uploading your copyrighted material for distribution, please contact us with details and we will investigate.
